Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

I received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Salem State College and a Master of Science in Nursing from the University of South Florida. I am certified as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. I have 15 years of experience treating children, adolescents, and adults with struggling with anxiety, depression, attention and stressors related to life-stage transitions.  I have worked in community mental health, private practice, and inpatient settings. Prior to my independent practice in the DMV, I had an independent practice in New England.

My clinical practice interests include ADHD; Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), especially those referred to as "High Functioning Autism" (formerly called "Asperger's"), social and generalized anxiety and mood dysregulation. More importantly, I have a strong interest in integrative strategies to support and optimize wellness across the domains.

I spent most of my life in the Boston area. Outside of my professional interests, I enjoy spending time in nature, reading, long walks, the beach, and visiting sites in DC.
